Biography
As the District Manager, Lisa oversees two of Illinois Retina's offices---Harvey (the largest and central location) and Munster, Indiana. Her corporate responsibilities for Illinois Retina include practice insurance, overseeing the payroll system and coordination of telecommunications.
Lisa grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago. She attended Illinois State University for a portion of her education and then worked at a major advertising agency in Chicago for 10 years. She had her son in 1996, and after her maternity leave, she decided to look for a job closer to home instead of continuing to work downtown.
She started at Illinois Retina Associates as the receptionist of the Harvey office. She then took over the responsibility for handling accounts payable for the corporation. After working on the accounts payable for a year, she was given the added responsibility of Assistant Manager in the Harvey office. When the active Office Manager announced her retirement, Lisa took over the Indiana office and trained with her to manage the Harvey office.
When away from the office, Lisa keeps busy with her son and twin daughters. In her spare time, Lisa plays softball every summer, was an officer of the Chicago Heights Jaycees, is a volunteer for the Girl Scouts, and is a member of Clusters, a club for mothers of multiples.
