Dr. Sohail Hasan, current President of ISEPS, introduced and led many talks at the recent Annual ISEPS/COS meeting. Dr. MacCumber has always participated in the ISEPS/COS meetings in the past and is big supporter.
Dr. Vivek Chaturvedi co-chaired the Annual ISEPS/COS meeting with Dr. Anjali Tannan of Rush Medical Center in Rosemont Friday March 8th. Dr. Pauline Merrill presented data from MAGNOLIA, an extension study of PEACHTREE, a pivotal phase 3 clinical trial in patients with macular edema with non-infectious uveitis at the American Uveitis Society in Park City, Utah. Congratulations to the Oak Park office (pictured is Dr. MacCumber with Ana Maria Marchan and Sara Montgomery) on receiving the Diabetic Retinopathy Clinical Research Network Quality Award from the National Eye Institute. They were recognized for being one for the top new sites for the DRCR (Diabetic Retinopathy Clinical Research Network) study. https://www.nih.gov
Jack Cohen was given the prestigious Senior Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Congrats Jack on your continued commitment to the AAO, education, and the field of retina!
Dr. Sohail Hasan was active at the recent American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Meeting in Chicago. He presented on Insurance for our Patients at the Retina Subspecialty Day, served as Deputy Section Leader at the AAO Council Meeting and attended the AAO Councilors meeting with Dr. Kathryn Colby (Chair of Ophthalmology at U of Chicago).
Dr. Mat MacCumber served on a Retina/Vitreous Original Paper Session panel along with Dr. Shlomit Schaal and Dr. Mark Johnson at the Annual Meeting for the American Academy of Ophthalmology!
Dr. Rezaei was an invited speaker at the Retina Subspecialty day of American Academy of Ophthalmolgy annual meeting in Chicago. He moderated a session with a group of leading retina surgeons from around the world sharing their surgical experiences with the audience.
