And the winner is….! The winners of The Winning Pitch Challenge-RETINA 2021 were selected during the virtual-live pitch event on February 6, 2021. Dr. John Pollack is co-Director of The Winning Pitch Challenge, which hosts 2 events per year-one for comprehensive ophthalmologists and the other for retina specialists. First, second and third place winners are awarded $25,000, $15,000 and $5,000 respectively. The purpose is to inspire innovation among ophthalmologists and to speed up the pace of discovery of novel solutions to important problems affecting eye patients.
