Dr. Chaturvedi gives lecture on Pachychoroid Spectrum of Macular Disease

To help ring in the new year, Dr. Vivek Chaturvedi gave a lecture to the residents and fellows at Rush University Medical Center Ophthalmology on Pachychoroid spectrum of macular disease on December 31st. We covered pachychoroid pigment epitheliopathy, focal choroidal excavation, central serous, pachychoroid neovasculopathy, & polypoidal. There is a lot of overlap with these conditions and when they develop CNV, they can be challenging to treat. We spent a significant amount of time covering the significance of the ‘double-layer’ sign seen on the OCT above.
