Verona Munich Retina Meeting is one of the premier surgical retina meetings in the world in which top retina surgeons from around the globe share the newest advancements in vitreoretinal surgery.
Dr. Rezaei moderated the live surgery session in which surgeons from Germany, Italy, Belgium and Hong Kong performed surgery on patients with macular hole, diabetic retinopathy, epiretinal membrane, retinal detachment, and inherited retinal diseases.
Dr. Rezaei moderated a surgical session in which leading European retina surgeons from Germany, England, Italy, Turkey and Netherlands discussed the latest surgical techniques and advances in vitreoretinal surgery, including the surgical management diabetic retinal detachment, dislocated intraocular lens, silicone oil tamponade for complex retinal detachment, and complex macular hole.
Dr. Rezaei also organized and moderated a panel discussion on one of the most advanced vitrectomy machines in the world. During this panel discussion, leading retina surgeons from Germany and Spain discussed the engineering advances in this new vitrectomy machine and its application in complex retinal surgery.
