Elizabeth Atchison & Pauline Merrill wrote up a well summarized article in a recent edition of Retinal Physician on the topic of “The Comanagement of Uveitis Patients”.  Managing these patients can be complex and requires clear communication channels between all providers.  These patients often require “frequent visits with multiple specialists may be an additional burden for these relatively young patients, who are often trying to juggle full-time work and family commitments as well as their challenging eye disease. Clear communication between providers can help facilitate care and optimize patient outcomes.”
