***Illinois Retina Associates Announces Dr. Kourous Rezaei Receiving the Distinguished European Vitreoretinal Society (EVRS) Award during the 2025 EVRS Annual Meeting in Mexico
Illinois Retina Associates is proud to recognize Dr. Kourous Rezaei's distinguished participation as an invited speaker and awardee at the 2025 European Vitreoretinal Society Annual Meeting, held in Mexico.
As the EVRS Award recipient, Dr. Rezaei gave a lecture on Advancing Surgical Skills in the digital age and on an innovative educational platform designed to enhance surgical education for retina specialists around the world.
Dr. Rezaei had the honor of moderating a prestigious international surgical session in which leading retina surgeons from Turkey, Italy, Germany, Greece, Mexico, Croatia and Argentina were invited to discuss the lates surgical techniques in vitreoretinal surgery. Challenging surgical management of retinal detachment, macular hole, diabetic retinopathy and optic nerve pit were discussed.
