Illinois Retina Associates is proud to recognize Dr. Kourous Rezaei’s distinguished participation as an invited moderator at the prestigious 2026 American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) Meeting, held in Montreal, Canada. ASRS is the premier retina meeting in the United States in which top retina specialists share the newest advancements in the field of retina.
Dr. Rezaei moderated a surgical session in which leading retina surgeons from the United States discussed the latest surgical techniques and advances in vitreoretinal surgery, including the surgical management diabetic retinal detachment, dislocated intraocular lens, complex retinal detachment, and macular hole.
Dr. Rezaei also organized and moderated a panel discussion on one of the most advanced vitrectomy machines in the world. During this panel discussion, leading retina surgeons from the United States discussed the engineering advances in this new vitrectomy machine and its applications for advancing retinal surgery.
